Over the last 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with all kinds of couples, crafting Jewish weddings that bring people together, honor and uplift the couple, and make the heart sing.

I see my role as a midwife, bringing forward the personality, love, and intention of the couple within a liberal Jewish framework. I engage the guests by inviting them to open their hearts, call out blessings, and actively participate in the sacred moment. I speak not only to the couple but also to the experience of those in attendance, helping them feel deeply connected to the ceremony.

I honor both those who are present and those who are absent—whether due to distance or because they have passed—ensuring their presence is felt in spirit. I also acknowledge the fragility of marriage, reminding the gathered community of their responsibility to help the couple thrive in their partnership.

Each wedding is unique, but at its core, it is always a shared, heartfelt, and transformative experience.

Wedding Testimonials

Rabbi George was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. He guided us through the process with warmth and wisdom, helping us understand the significance of Jewish traditions—especially for my wife, who isn’t Jewish. He took the time to craft a ceremony that was deeply meaningful and personal to us, making our wedding day incredibly special. We are so grateful for his support, knowledge, and the beautiful way he officiated our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better Rabbi to lead us into this new chapter of our lives. -Gabe and Katie

Rabbi George has directly shaped my connection to my faith, leading me through my childhood Jewish education and my most spiritual life moments, including my Bat Mitzvah and, years later, my wedding to my husband, Colt.

During the months leading up to our wedding, he met with Colt and me for sessions that helped lay the foundation for a strong and loving marriage. His guidance provided us with practical wisdom and a deeper appreciation for the meaning behind our partnership.

Rabbi George encouraged us to make the ceremony intimate and meaningful while incorporating elements that reflected our love and community, including inviting our friends to recite each of the Sheva Brachot, and having everyone surround us and shout out their prayers to us as we began our life together as husband and wife. From the Ketubah signing to the breaking of the glass, Rabbi George made everything feel so natural, but also truly magical—everyone still cannot stop talking about how beautiful and heartfelt the ceremony was. -Molly and Colt

Rabbi Geoge was a wonderful choice for our wedding. He did a fabulous job preparing us for our big day. We had a few meetings where he welcomed our questions and discussed options for the ceremony. Rabbi George’s experience, knowledge and sense of humor gave us reassurance and confidence. I feel fortunate that we had Rabbi George lead our marriage ceremony – one of the most meaningful and joyful events of my life. - Carol & Tom

Over the many years I and my family have enjoyed services, events and ceremonies conducted by Rabbi George Gittleman. That's why when it was the time to plan our wedding, we did not hesitate to call Rabbi George.  We trusted him and valued his guidance fully.

The whole process, from securing the date, having a great pre-marriage meeting and counseling session, to the lead up details to the wedding, Rabbi George was there for us.

Our single and most important goal was to end up married and blessed at the end of the day, with as little distraction and stress as possible.  Rabbi George guided us in a way that honored our expectations, and the ceremony complete, wonderful and tailored to our needs and desires.

The pictures and videos were great, but we need only consult our memories of the day to recreate the feeling of the ceremony. Many of our guests commented on the beauty of the ceremony.  It could not have been the same without Rabbi George. - Rick & Heather
